Budget 2019: It is the last chance for BJP to take a grip in elections with its rival "The Congress" after losing the elections in three major states in India.

  •  Those who earn up to 5lakh rupees per anum do not have to pay tax and those who earn up to 6.5Lakh rupees which include the savings do not have to pay tax.
  • Direct cash of 6,000Rs/- will be given to the farmers under the scheme of "Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidi" at the cost of 75,000 crores to the government. Small and marginal farmers who have less than two acres will be given 2,000Rs/- for three times. The first
    installment would be given by March.
  • The government also said it would launch a pension scheme for workers in an unorganized
    sector those with a monthly income of 18,000Rs/- will get assured 3,000Rs/- as a pension.
  • The government also allocated 60,000crore for rural job scheme.
  • The government revised upward growth estimates for the two years since the notes got banned 2017-2108 and 2016-2017 to 7.2 percent and 8.2 percent.
