What is meant by Article 72 in the Indian Constitution?

Article 72 of the Indian Constitution confers it on the president: “The president has the power to grant pardon, reprieves, or to postpone punishments. Even the governor has the same privilege but it comes under article 162. If a person needs amnesty then he/she should approach governor. If the governor rejects the petition then he can approach the president and even if the president rejects the petition then the person can file a case in supreme court saying that the petition was wrongly rejected.
If the case has come by the favor of the person then again he/she can approach the governor to grant pardon, if the petition was granted then that's fine or else the process can be continued.
There are no restrictions or limits to the number of times a person may petition the governor or president and seek review of those decisions
